A Raspberry Pi 5 in an Argon V3 case with active cooling (or your own supplied server), wired by ethernet to your NBN router or to a mesh node with a cabled backhaul.

Setup, Configuration & Pairing

We install and configure Home Assistant, then pair every device over Zigbee, Thread or Matter - existing HomeKit, Alexa and Google gear bridges in rather than replaced. Up to five starter automations are included, built around how your household actually runs.

Tamborine Acreage: Mesh Wi-Fi & Point-to-Point Bridge

A single router in the main house left a detached workshop and a converted granny flat, roughly 90 metres away, with no usable Wi-Fi at all - and the property runs on NBN Fixed Wireless, so the design needed to make the most of that connection rather than fight it.

We surveyed the property, mapped line of sight between buildings, and designed a mesh-and-bridge network - extending strong, reliable coverage to every building on the block at one fixed price.

Gilston Acreage: Long-Range Wi-Fi to the Front Gate

This Gilston acreage needed reliable Wi-Fi at the front gate, roughly 200 metres from the house, to run an intercom and gate camera - too far for the mesh to reach on its own.

We ran a dedicated point-to-point wireless bridge from the house to a mast at the gate, giving it a clean, dedicated signal without trenching cable across the paddocks.

Carrara Home: TP-Link Deco Mesh & Smart Home

This Carrara home had Wi-Fi dead spots in the back bedrooms and no smart home integration to speak of.

We installed a whole-property TP-Link Deco mesh system for even coverage room to room, then brought the smart fridge, ducted climate control and multi-room speakers into a single, locally-run smart home setup.

Common Questions

Straight answers before you book an assessment.

Most homes are done in a single visit for the Wi-Fi stage. Larger properties with outbuildings, jobs that involve cabling, or bookings that cover the smart home stage as well sometimes need a second visit - if so we tell you at the quote stage rather than on the day.

Wherever it makes sense. If your existing gear is capable we will build around it and tell you so. If it is the reason the network is struggling, we will explain why and what replacing it would achieve before you commit to anything.

Cabling is coordinated through our preferred licensed electricians and included in your fixed price, so it stays one quote and one point of contact. You are not left chasing a separate trade.

Almost always. Most mainstream devices speak Zigbee, Matter or a protocol we can bridge, so they get pulled into the local hub rather than thrown out. If something genuinely cannot be brought across, we will tell you at the assessment rather than after you have paid.

The house keeps working. Because the hub and the automations live in your home rather than on a company's servers, lights, blinds, sensors and switches carry on as normal. You lose remote access from outside the house until the connection returns, and nothing else.

Yes, and it is a common request. We audit what is already there, work out what is worth keeping, and migrate it onto a local setup you control. You do not need to start again from scratch.
